Established in 1984, the Atlas Boxing Club is located in Toronto at 100 Bridgeland Avenue Unit A, off of highway 401 and Dufferin St. close to Yorkdale Mall.
The Atlas Boxing Club specializes in Boxing and Fitness and is renown as the premier boxing club in Canada. Owned and operated by Adrian Teodorescu PH.D., Canadian Olympic Coach and Professional Boxing Trainer and Manager. The day-to-day operations of the club are managed by Gina Teodorescu Ph.D., wife of Adrian, general manager and nutritionist. The marketing and promotions are handled by Armand Teodorescu, son of Adrian; also an accomplished boxing coach, who is well known for planning and organizing some of the best boxing events in Toronto. Atlas is a family owned business dedicated to serving our community and keeping Toronto youth off the streets.
The Atlas gym caters to people who are interested in learning the “sweet science”, otherwise know as the sport of boxing, as well as those who want to achieve and stay at a peak level of fitness through our unique boxing circuit training. Our facilities include a pro boxing ring, a large mirrored heavy bag area, a large variety of boxing apparatus and punching bags, as well as a cardio machine and a free weights area at the mezzanine level. With clean change rooms and showers as well as towel service and equipment rental we make our members comfortable.
Our facility is one of the largest in Canada to be devoted primarily to Boxing and Fitness. The difference between our club and any other is in the specialized and skilled instructors that train the members at our club. We are lucky to have some of the best coaching in the world with Adrian
as the Master Coach in charge of professional boxing operations; his son Armand Teodorescu, a level 3 coach, in charge of amateur boxing operations; assistant coach Ernesto Petta, a level 1 coach; and as one of our star assistant coaches, Mandy Bujold, another level 1 coach, as well as, 6x Canadian Champion and Pan American Champion. We also have several other qualified volunteer coaches who have been trained by Adrian & Armand. Because of our specialized staff we boast the best in boxing circuit training in Canada, as our coaches know how to challenge both recreational and high performance members alike.
